Within Mazars in Romania, I lead the financial services and consulting department, which offers a variety of services such as M&A assistance, consultancy in the implementation of various accounting and regulatory standards, IT consulting, corporate governance, and risk management services. My client portfolio includes companies from various sectors (real estate, energy, infrastructure & environment, insurance, banking & capital markets, and many more), with a special focus on the financial services sector. An important aspect of my activity is to keep the boards of directors and the executive management team informed of what matters to investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders, to better manage their businesses. One of my main priorities is to create and share best practices with the Romanian business environment, to nurture a learning culture, identify and fill knowledge gaps, boost efficiency and competence and build a connected business network. I am a Certified Romanian Auditor (CAFR), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), a member of The Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR), and a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
